The first-generation phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors were introduced to the market in 1998 (; ). PDE-5 inhibitors were a class of selective phosphodiesterase type 5 inhibitors (; ). PDE-5 inhibitors have been used to treat erectile dysfunction in men. They are also used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) (; ; ). PDE-5 inhibitors are among the first-generation, selective phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors. They belong to a class of drugs called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitors. The primary component is PDE-5 (; ; ). They are used in the treatment of pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH) to reduce pulmonary vascular resistance. The PDE-5 inhibitor can be administered with or without food (; ).
PDE-5 inhibitors are a selective phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5) inhibitor, and they work by inhibiting the action of phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE-5). PDE-5 is a muscle-specific enzyme that is responsible for the degradation of cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP), which is responsible for the relaxation of the smooth muscle and increases blood flow to the penis. Dapoxetine: The mean plasma concentration of Dapoxetine was 2.3 ± 0.4 ng/mL and the maximum plasma concentration of the three drugs was 20.4 ng/mL.
The results of the pharmacokinetic studies of the three drugs were analyzed and are presented in Table 2.
